WELCOME BACK!
Hello! We're back after our short break. How are you? I hope you're ready to start again!😀
In this lesson, we will read a short e-mail. You can read it and complete the activities here.
Extra practise: Heartache and bellyache
In lesson 11 we saw that there are many words used to define pain in a specific body part made up two parts: body part and ache . Here you have two songs that can help you improve your pronunciation. Enjoy! BONNIE TYLER - IT'S A HEARTACHE It's a heartache Nothing but a heartache Hits you when it's too late Hits you when you're down It's a fool's game Nothing but a fool's game Standing in the cold rain Feeling like a clown It's a heartache Nothing but a heartache Love him 'til your arms break Then he let's you down It ain't right with love to share When you find he doesn't care for you It ain't wise to need someone As much as I depended on you Oh, it's a heartache Nothing but a heartache Hits you when it's too late Hits you when you're down It's a fool's game Nothing but a fool's game Standing in the cold rain Feeling like a clown It ain't right with love to share When you find he doesn't care for yo...
