  Welcome to a new unit! Do you think there is a right job for every person? What qualifications do we need for certain careers? Do you know anyone with an unusual job? Let's listen to Mayo's interview and work on the activities.  Audio 1:  listen Audio 2:  listen Let's take a closer look at some expressions that Mayo used. Answers: "Have to" means that something is necessary. You have to be very enthusiastic. "Can" means that you are able to do something. If you want to, you can stay later in the evenings. "Don't have to" means that something is not necessary. You don't have to have any special qualifications. "Can't" means that you are not able to do something. There are a lot of Spanish people, but I can't speak Spanish. Let's practice! These are the answers to activity number 2:

Hello! Today we will work with the questions we had about "the last time". You had nine sentences to complete with your information. The last exam I took was… The last time I stayed up late was… The last time I lost something important was… The last wedding/party I went to was… The last time I went for a run/walk/swim was… The last time I went to a restaurant/coffee shop was… The last time I sang/danced was… The last cup of tea/coffee I had was… The last long journey I went on was… How can we ask questions about this? Starting with  When was the last time that... Then we add the rest changing the person if we need to do that. For example:  When was the last time that you took an exam? After asking and answering you can compare your information with your classmate and decide Who was the last person to... Who was the last person to take an exam? (Pay attention to the verbs in the infinitive)

 Hello! The weather has really changed from one day to the next, right? Apparently, the heatwave is finally over. This is a good way to say goodbye to the summer, don't you think?  In today's lesson we'll start discussing some things about summer: the clothing and the activities that we do. For example, I always wear t-shirts, jeans and sneakers, but I wore shorts and tank tops during the hottest days. What do I do on a typical summer day? Well, I usually read books or watch movies and I sometimes visit friends. What about TV? I don't watch TV because I prefer streaming services. I often watch Netflix. I sometimes watch documentaries and k-dramas. I don't watch superhero movies often and I never watch reality TV. Do you know the history of television? Let's read about TV firsts.
