LESSON 4 - MARCH 27TH

 Hello! Today's lesson is the second part of lesson 3. We are going to work some more on the idea of important firsts, this time by working on a quiz. As you can see, there are gaps in the questions for you to complete.

How do we know when to use was, were or did?

Remember that both was and were are the past forms of the verb to be, so think about the meaning of the question first.

On the other hand, did is an auxiliary, which means that the question must have a main verb (other than be).

We can't have two conjugated verbs in a row, so remember not to use be (was/were) with regular verbs.

Be careful with number 6! The verb to walk is not the main conjugated verb in that sentence. Think of the meaning of the question.
