READING A NEWS ARTICLE


 Did you know that there is a newspaper written 100% in English that covers the news from Argentina? Its name is Buenos Aires Times and you can read it online! Let's take a look at a news article that talks about something very recent: the power cut. 

Look at all the information you can gather from the article. How do you know that this is a news article? Is it an online version or a printed version? Read the article and work on the activities. Don't worry if you don't understand every single word! Try to focus on the message.

 Today we´ll read a mini biography. Look at the pictures and the heading. What can you say about this person? Now read the text and answer the following questions: What is the man's name? What is his job? Has he won any awards? What is he like? (personality) Finally, create a tag for each paragraph stating the main topic.
