EXTRA PRACTISE: SCANNING FOR INFORMATION.

 Sometimes we read to get a general idea of what a text is about, but there are times when we look for specific information. This is called scanning. 

Practise scanning by looking for the information to complete the summary box in FIFTY FIFTY's Wikipedia page.

 Today we´ll read a mini biography. Look at the pictures and the heading. What can you say about this person? Now read the text and answer the following questions: What is the man's name?
