Hello! Let's start by listening to Tristan talk about his job. This is quite a long conversation, but don't worry! Before you listen, look at the picture and the short phrases taken from the interview. Listen to the audio once to get an idea of the conversation, and then play it again and write down words and ideas that might give you a clue about what his job is. Answers: "Have to" means that something is necessary. You have to be very enthusiastic. "Can" means that you are able to do something. If you want to, you can stay later in the evenings. "Don't have to" means that something is not necessary. You don't have to have any special qualifications. "Can't" means that you are not able to do something. There are a lot of Spanish people, but I can't speak Spanish. Let's practice! These are the answers to activity number 2:

  Nowadays, we don't usually ask people for directions. Instead, we use apps like Google Maps. These apps give us directions. What does it look like? Let me show you how to go from my house to the park according to Google Maps. These are real screenshots! Now look at the following set of directions. Can you complete the gaps? Here is some extra practice. Now it's your turn! Take a screenshot and write the directions from your house to a place in your neighborhood. Submit your homework through Whatsapp.

Joel is going to visit Andy at his cottage, but he doesn't know how to get there.  Listen to Andy's directions  and mark the route on the map, then complete with the missing words. Joel tried to follow Andy's directions, but something went wrong!
